Born in Canada and living in New York, Loreen writes and consults with home furnishing manufacturers and retailers on product development and marketing direction. She’s currently president of Room Planners Inc., an idea company focused on aligning consumer priorities with new home furnishings products and promotions.

Loreen has held executive positions in merchandising and marketing with some of North America’s top retailers and manufacturers including Staples, Levitz Furniture, Seaman’s Furniture, Palliser Furniture and Crossley Carpet Mills. She has written a column/blog for industry publication Furniture Today, had articles published with leading industry magazines, and led workshops with home furnishing retailers across the United States and in Canada.
